In August 2017 I set myself the discipline of doing a daily drawing or painting and have more or less managed to keep this up. You can also follow this regular project on Instagram. I used to use the Instagram address @MyDailyDrawingProject but this has now changed to:

Last week of November was spent in Barbados. My husband had sailed across on a large commercial sailing ship and I met him and his friends there. The weather was not brilliant and I had actually spent far too much time away from home so wasn't in the mood for more jet-setting. Little did we know that this would the last foreign trip for more than a year and possibly even the last trip ever thanks to Covid.
November 2019: and some more prosaic London images...
November 2019 working on some semi-abstract images based on the Indonesian reefs in the Banda Sea.
I like these abstract pastels converted to grey scale digital images
October 2019, Indonesia
The final two weeks were spent on a beautiful wooden boat. We sailed the Banda Sea visiting uninhabited islands and diving on pristine reefs.
First week was spent at Weda eco resort. It was extraordinarily remote without air con etc. One evening I went back to my basic room to find a snake heading my way. The staff took it seriously and caught it and returned it to the forest. Made me think it must be rather poisonous...
Drawings done on some of the very many flights I took....
