ALL CARDS HAVE REFERENCE "SPLASH CARD"
Each card is unique. The controlled splashes are painted in watercolour and gouache in Christmas colours and the gold is added afterwards to give a delicious shimmer. Each card is an individual work of art and perfect for a very special Christmas or greetings card. Examples below. The paper is crisp white and the colours are vibrant - and very difficult to photograph!

Every card is an individual work of art and perfect for a very special Christmas or greetings card. These can be viewed in person at the De Beauvoir front drive sale on 6 December 2020. Hand painted cards gilded with 24 carat gold leaf

Each card is unique. The crisp square of colour, sometimes textured or with subtle patterns due to the layered application of paint, is offset with a splash of glorious 24 carat gold in an irregular shape usually placed off-centre. The gold shimmers in juxtaposition to the vibrantly coloured squares some of which are watercolour/gouache and others are acrylic. These cards make a luxurious statement - ideal for a very special Christmas or greetings card.
