These etchings were all done on one plate in December 2012.

First print, after hard ground etching.

Second print after soft ground etching. I experimented with lots of different forms including a feather, a piece of gauzey netting (both bottom left), a piece of rough string (bottom right), a scrumpled up piece of tissue paper (left nearer top) and tried drawing with a pencil on paper placed over the plate. This should produce a softer line but was not very apparent on my print.

With Chine Collé, black and lemon yellow inks and collaged paper.

Four inks: magenta with some blue to knock it back, scarlet red and golden yellow.
