Since 2017 I have been trying to do a daily drawing or painting and have more or less managed to keep this up. You can also follow this - My Daily Drawing Project - on Instagram:
2020! “Daily Drawings” have got off to a slow start on account of lots of guests staying over Christmas and New Year. I’ve also got a couple of commissions to work on which take concentrated time so daily work may not materialise.
A few new window art paintings which I put up for the neighbourhood open air walk about feet in lieu of the usual end of summer produce show.
Experimenting with some fabulously vibrant acrylics and a delicate glass jug with dried grasses from my garden in it. The grey scale images are done digitally but I find them rather intriguing. Something reminiscent of photographic negatives. Deliberately didn’t make the backgrounds precise but might try that next/soon maybe using muted colours to see how that affects the image. 2 Sept. 2020
